The adidas Hyperride trainer was launched using 'Free Runner' athletes who showcased the trainer with displays of the art of Parkour. We were asked to use photography supplied by adidas and create an eight page advertorial.
THE SOLUTION
We combined the pictures with product shots and our own photography. Our concept was clear - the new trainer was an extension of the person wearing it which allowed you to interact with your surrounding. We used the supplied pictures as holding shots for each spread and created a story using smaller pictures which ran through each spread as you turned the page. This composition saw a combination of buildings and the product create a cityscape horizon which was treated in a negative white. We used guerilla marketing which saw the word Hyperride found on pavements across London to punctuate each spread.
THE RESULT
A strong and highly creative set of spreads which took the concept of the person, the product and the environment and merged them together to become one single story about the adidas Hyperride range.
WHAT THE CLIENT SAID
Revolution went beyond our expectations and truly grasped the concept behind the product and marketing. A fantastic piece of work.
